Specialist work deserves a specialist firm
Gradient Search exists for a simple reason: Australian AI hiring is a specialist problem, served almost entirely by generalists. We built the firm to close that gap - properly.
Australia's AI workforce has grown from a few hundred people to tens of thousands in a decade, demand is concentrated in a nameable set of employers, and the roles themselves have specialised fast - yet the recruitment market serving them still runs on conflated job titles, gated "salary guides" with no stated method, and thirteen-week guarantees.
We serve one market - AI specialists in Australia - to a standard the rest of the industry doesn't attempt: clearly defined roles instead of conflated job titles; individually-interviewed compensation data instead of hearsay; documented, structured assessment instead of a formatted CV; a contractual timeline and a six-month guarantee instead of adjectives. Everything we claim is something you can verify.
The principles we operate by:
- Specialise, or don't bother. We decline work outside AI. The focus is what makes the network, the data and the speed real.
- Publish the method. Our compensation data, our role definitions and our transparency statement are public, stated and citable.
- People decide. Technology strengthens our process - always disclosed, always consented, with a person making every decision. We hold ourselves to the standard our own governance clients are held to.
- The candidate experience is the brand. Every candidate is treated as the professional they are - because today's candidate is next year's client.
Gradient Search is founded and led by Jeremy Greene in Sydney, working nationally. The firm is deliberately principal-led: every search is conducted by its principal, never handed down.
